The cooking surface features four induction zones, while the large electric oven offers nearly 3 cu.ft. of cooking space for baking and broiling. This unit comes in a classic white finish and no rear backguard for a slide-in look. It has a recessed oven door and is conveniently sized at just 24 deep for a better fit in galley in L-shaped kitchens, where every inch counts. A towel bar handle in brushed stainless steel provides an added touch of style to the oven door. This range requires professional installation with a standard 40 amp 3 or 4-prong cord. Unlike radiant heating, induction technology utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen. The surface is constructed from smooth EuroKera white glass to create a modern, easy-to-clean surface. The front left and rear right elements are sized at 8 1/4, ideal for boiling large pots of water or cooking with woks and other large cookware. The smart burner layout helps provide plenty of room so that larger cooking vessels are spaced apart, making it easier to use all four elements without cookware colliding. Touch controls allow intuitive operation. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power setting. Audible beeps sound when the touch controls are activated.
